Housing and the Vibrant City
Friday, March 2, Schwitzer Student Center
The 2018 Fairbanks Symposium focuses on the role that housing has played in shaping modern cities. Fondly called a “city of homes” for many years, Indianapolis developed a reputation as a great place to live, at times precisely because it seemed less urban than some of its peers. The 2018 Fairbanks Symposium will examine the role that housing has played in shaping the city, engage in conversation about housing needs in the present, and think about next steps that cities will encounter as they build for the future.
