“I’m going to do this for the rest of my life,” a new play written by local playwright Tom Horan, is an ensemble piece that illustrates 4 true stories of recovery from many kinds of addiction, including food, alcohol, and opioids. Expanding on issues of stigma, race, and body image, this play ‘flips the script’, engaging the audience to question their own views of themselves and of addiction. Performance will be followed by a talk-back between audience, cast members, and the people whose stories were told.
Directed by Lauren Briggeman, featuring Georgeanna Smith-Wade, Ryan Ruckman, Sarah Hoffman, Daniel Alexander and Josh Coomer.
