Since its founding in 1994, the Buselli-Wallarab Jazz Orchestra has presented over 1000 public performances and created programs for over 50,000 students through it’s educational events, including a 12-year weekly residency at Indianapolis’ premiere jazz club The Jazz Kitchen. The BWJO has recorded 8 cd’s and has created hundreds of new works for jazz orchestra.
The orchestra was co-founded by Mark Buselli, Director of Jazz Studies at Ball State University, and Brent Wallarab, Associate Professor of Music in the Indiana University Jacob’s School of Music jazz program.
