Faculty Artist Concert Series
Journey Through the Centuries
Marko Petričić, organ

Marko Petričić explores the colorful instruments of Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Indianapolis. The program performed on the Taylor and Boody organ in the Christ Church gallery will focus on music of the 17th and 18th centuries by Sweelinck, Buxtehude, Vivaldi as transcribed by J.S. Bach, and Mozart. The second half of the evening, performed on the Hellmuth Wolff organ in the cathedral’s chancel, will feature French and American Classic, Romantic, and Contemporary repertoire by Nicolas de Grigny, Jean Adam Guilain, David Conte, William Bolcom, Sigfrid Karg-Elert, and Franz Liszt (the Prelude and Fugue on B-A-C-H).

Presented by Katz, Sapper & Miller.
