Admission is free to the public.
Soprano Jennifer Goltz is hailed by Gramophone magazine as “captivating” and “brilliant…a voice full of subtle allure and sprightly energy.” At the invitation of the composer, she performed Luciano Berio’s Circles at the Salzburg Music Festival. John Boonenberg’s many awards include the International Bartók-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev Competition and the Poland International Music Festival Competition. Dr. Goltz of the University of Michigan and Dr. Boonenberg of Concordia University, Ann Arbor, appear at UIndy as part of a Midwest tour featuring colorful and moving new art songs by American poets and composers, including a premiere of Bloom to Bloom, a song cycle by UIndy Professor Emerita Alice Friman and Professor of Music John Berners.
