Praised by The Washington Postas “beautiful,” by The Miami Heraldas “wildly inventive,” and by Fanfare Magazineas “…effective…incisive…and haunting…” the music of Douglas Knehans has been recognized by the American Music Center, National Endowment for the Arts, Yale University, the MacDowell Colony, and more. Professor of Composition at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Dr. Knehans will appear at UIndy for two days of teaching capped by a Friday evening concert. Join us for an unforgettable evening of Knehans’ directly emotional and intense new music, presented by UIndy faculty and friends.
