Dr. Karri York, soprano, currently serves on the voice faculty at IUPUI Music Arts and Technology, Anderson University, and for Pre-College and Adult Music Program at University of Indianapolis. Dr. York is also Director of Music at Tapestry Church in Greenwood, Indiana and is active in several professional music organizations. Her professional performance experiences include solo recitals, oratorio, opera, and extensive studio work as a session singer. After completion of her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance, she also received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Butler University where she studied with Mr. Steven Stolen. In 2011, she earned her Doctor of Music in Voice from Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University under the tutelage of Dr. Brian Horne. Recent Post-graduate vocal studies have been under the guidance and care of Professor Emeritus Caroline Smith from Depauw University.
