L/P Credit Approved with Webinar Registration
The University of Indianapolis Department of Theatre will retell Orson Welles’s “War of the Worlds” famed radio broadcast from 1938. On the evening of October 30, 1938, radio listeners across the U.S. heard a startling report of mysterious creatures and terrifying war machines moving toward New York City. But the hair-raising broadcast was not a real news bulletin—it was Orson Welles’ adaptation of the H. G. Wells’ classic “The War of the Worlds.”
Join the UIndy Theatre Department, in collaboration with WICR and the Department of Music, as they put on this special production for Halloween weekend. Tune into 88.7 WICR at 6 or 8 P.M., or register for the webinar broadcast below.
In order to receive L/P credit, students must register and listen to the webinar version of the broadcast either at 6 P.M. or 8 P.M.
