You’re invited to a panel discussion with University of Indianapolis faculty and community leaders from the Burmese American Community Institute, Exodus Refugee, Indiana Latino Institute, Kheprw Institute, and Chamber of Commerce.
The panel of special guests will address the question of “Who is a Hoosier?” through complex issues related to community, identity, and belonging in their respective organizations and the work they do. They will discuss the challenges the city of Indianapolis faces, the challenges of its new residents, and propose community-based solutions that create an inclusive and diverse culture for all.
This virtual event is free and open to the public, as well as the entire UIndy community.
